How to read the tables
Each day carries three independent traditional layers: the 建除 twelve day officers (anchored to the month branch), the 黃黑道 twelve spirits (a mathematically incompatible system the imperial almanac compendium itself flagged), and 六曜 (a later folk layer). They frequently disagree; the tables print all of them and refuse to merge. Which days suit which activity is interpretation — see the school dispute register for where the schools actually differ.
